Badami Caves: Said to have been constructed in the late 6th and early 7th centuries, the Badami Sandstone Cave Temples are famous all over the world for their rock cut architecture and simple design. Enrobed in intricate carvings, three of the caves sport Hindu deities, whereas the fourth one is a Jain Temple, the only one in the region.

Archeological Museum: Examine the local sculptural wonders of Badami and nearby places at the Archeological Museum.

Rock Climbing: A number of cliffs surround Badami and its cave temples. The opportunities for climbing are significant, but do enquire about permissions with your place of stay before visiting!
